An Honor and Pleasure

Over Labor Day weekend I was honored and humbled at officiating my first ever wedding!! It was a whirlwind of a weekend. It was the first time I got to see what a best man/officiant was. It was a pretty busy and sleepless weekend but it was pretty awesome!

It is an interesting story for Ryne and Rachel. Ryne is my best friend from college until this day. Ryne and I kind of, in a round about way fell into being best friend immediately. We met our freshman year of college and have not stopped being there for each other since then. Rachel is one of Amanda’s longest friends, as well as one of her best friends. She has had an up and down journey to say the least, but it has been an incredible honor to see where she is today. Ryne and Rachel met(talked to each other) for the first time at our wedding. Which is kind of cool to think that we have had a part in their relationship from the very beginning. Not to brag at all, it is just a pretty cool thing to know that they found each other that way. It is mainly a coincidence. We love Rachel and Ryne and were so thrilled to be a part of their special day!

Thanks so much Ryne and Rachel for allowing Amanda and I to be a part of your wedding! We loved it and cannot wait to see where God calls you both too in the future!
