Romans 5:8

I have been doing a lot of thinking lately about how God has blessed all of us so much, even though, we as humans broke the connection that God originally had intended for us with him. We were intended for a life long, eternal connection with God, God created us so that HE could walk, talk, eat and be with us. Through sin, we crushed that connection but yet he still continues to bless us in so many ways. It is unfathomable sometimes as to how much the God of the universe can bless someone like me. Some one that has messed up numerous times, some one that loses faith every now and again, some one that doesn’t always trust him, some one that doesn’t always follow his call. But yet God continues to bless us?

Where do you feel God has blessed you? My family is a huge blessing in my life(both sides if you may ask). My family has helped me and encouraged me more than I could ever ask for. I have been given second chances, third chances, fourth chances, and many many more. But yet they still stick. Why has God blessed us so much?

Romans 5:8

” but God shows his Love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

I am a sensitive guy, most people that know me will tell you that I can be some what of a sissy sometimes. As I sit in Starbucks right now, I am holding back tears because this passage has reminded me of why God continues to bless us or even how God can continue to bless us. Two thousand years ago, God sent his son, to come to this earth, to teach, live, eat, talk, walk and live a life worth imitating. Jesus came to this earth not only to teach, perform miracles, cause a ruckus, but also to fulfill a promise that God would have that connection with us. Jesus died for all of us before we were even thought of by our parents, before our parents were even thought about. But God knew about us, He knew that we would mess up once, twice, three times and more. But he Loved us so much, that even while knowing we would sin against him, Jesus, his son died for us so that we could have a connection with God in the eternity.

God loved us first, so we should return the favor and love him as he has loved us. There is a time for everyone in there lives to take Hebrews 5 to heart and grow up. We are called to live a life of stages, we are called to grow up and dedicate our lives to him. I am taking steps to be more mature, it is difficult, I still have trouble, but I am working towards loving him and seeing what HE has planned for my life.

What is the reminder for you? Where is God
