Devo #1-God’s Glory
So I have had a recent train of thinking about how to give God the Glory that he deserves.
One of my most cherished ways of spending my time, is when I get out into the world of nature and just gaze at God’s creation. It is one of the most humbling parts of being a Christian I think we have been blessed with.
There was this bridge when I was in college that I would go to often to sit and be either by myself or with friends. I was blessed with a great group of friends that when we were at this bridge we had great conversation. The one thing that we did all have in common is we did not all go out to the bridge to just stand and freeze or sweat when it was hot out. We went to gaze at the stars that God has put in the sky. You see this bridge is in the middle of nowhere. It is about 15 minutes outside of the town in I went to school in. It is completely alone, somewhat creepy. Many creepy stories have come from that bridge. The one thing that it had that not many places I have ever been is the view of the sky. It was awesome.
Recently I was able to go on a cruise and I got to see a whole new side of God’s creation. Blue Water, trees, beaches, crazy towns, baseball fields.
Take a look:
I love being able to get out and be with God alone in his creation.
How do you see spend time with God?
Is it nature?A City? Reading
